If you are coming from the south you will find that there are few access highways to the top of Lookout mountain, so you must expect to leave the Interstates before you approach the southern extents of this map.

You should make your way to either GA-189 which runs along the peak of Lookout Mountain's ridge, GA-341, or GA-193 which are in the valley east of the mountain. When crossing the state line into Tennessee, GA-193 becomes TN-17; you will follow this north for a little more than a mile and a half to TN-58 / GA-57 --- at a very confusing multiple intersection. You must turn sharply left and then instantly right - watch the lights and signs and take it easy!

Coming from east, west, or north, you will come through Chattanooga, Tennessee; follow TN-58 south; when it crosses the GA state line, it becomes GA-57.

In either case, take GA-57 (Ochs Hwy.) up the mountain.

As you reach the edge of the mountain-top, GA-57 (mysteriously?) becomes Red Riding Hood Trail, GA-157.

The "Trail" ends at the Stop sign at Lula lake Rd. Turn right here, and immediately be prepared to turn left onto McFarland Road.

Stay on McFarland until it ends at a Stop sign at Scenic Highway. The church is immediately on your right on Scenic Highway.
